Hello! Thanks for stopping by and checking out our website!

Join us Sunday at 9:30 or 11 AM!

Here are a few data points about our flavor of church:

Our Sunday mornings are casual in dress and feel. We aren't very "churchy," but we are very serious about Jesus. We teach from the Bible and believe it is the Word of God. Our worship and music are guitar-driven. There are Polaris Kids programs during the worship service that your child could attend (or they could stay with you during the service). Our teen program, SMT, meets during the 11:00 service. Students start in the service, then leave the auditorium after the music and go to their spaces. Services are usually an hour long. While your first experience will likely be a Sunday visit, we hope you'll connect beyond Sundays and experience the causes and friendships that make our church a great place to develop a growing friendship with Jesus!

Friendship with jesus

At Polaris, we want to get people into a growing friendship with Jesus. That single desire drives everything we do. Religion only works for some. Friendship with Jesus always works for EVERYBODY! If you find yourself craving more than just going through the motions of church, I hope you will think about finding a growing friendship with Jesus with us!

Isaiah 58

"...spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness..."  - Isaiah 58

Isaiah 58 has become a special passage from the Bible for our church. We want to make a difference in the lives of people who are hurting, who may be far from God, and we especially go all out to help kids know Jesus and love the Church. We want all people to know just how much God loves them. We want to be an Isaiah 58 movement! Our hope is that by seeing God's love, people everywhere would turn to Jesus for hope and healing. Deep friendships

Polaris is a place where people develop deep friendships for life. It's not uncommon to hear about people who met at Polaris and eventually vacation together! This happens because we expect an environment where people can grow together in relational safety, free of judgment and gossip.

We hope your entire family develops a growing friendship with Jesus! We're here to help! Our Sunday morning services are a great place to start, but we hope you'll connect with our church family beyond Sundays! Check out the CONNECT tab to see how you can connect with us!

The mess

When people can be their authentic self, things can get messy! Polaris is a place where we expect people to be authentic as they grow together in friendship with Jesus and each other. This kind of honesty requires a lot of grace. While we do our best to push each other forward and would never want anyone to settle for less than God's best, we value the mess of our humanity that emerges as we all honestly express our struggles and disappointments. It's our toughest value to explain, but you'll see what we mean.

What we believe

At Polaris, we hold the Bible to be God's authority for our lives. We expect our church family to search the Scriptures energetically as their faith grows. There is no set of beliefs you are required to hold to worship with us. However, our leaders and volunteers who represent our church to the community and lead our church family would need to align with typical orthodox values of the Christian faith. The ancient Apostles Creed best sums up what we center around doctrinally.
