We want to be an Isaiah 58 Movement that makes disciples. Isaiah 58 has become a huge part of our culture. Simply put, we want to make a difference. That calling is why we go all out for kids. That mission is why we try to be as generous as possible toward people. Below you'll find a few of the causes we rally around as a church.
LovePure.org
Our own Chuck and Kristy Baddley started LovePure to help children living in profound poverty in Costa Rica. We have a Youth Center there, and the Baddleys are running the center and helping families experience the love of Jesus. They left their American life behind to go and do something about the problem! CITY MISSION
We regularly provide meals for the men residing at Cleveland's City Mission. We believe that when we serve the homeless, we are actually serving Jesus. We are also helping people in need experience their world and God's love. It's really important to us! You can help! Text the word mission to (330) 529-5693 to let Kathy Beebe know you want to help!
Street Ministry
We want to show the generosity of Jesus to those who are in need. In downtown Akron there are so many without food, clothing, friendship, and hope. Since we have a heart for the poor, we take clothes and supplies to the homeless.
Compassion International
Each day, around 20,000 children die from poverty related causes throughout the world. Compassion International releases children from poverty in Jesus' name, one by one.
Many families at Polaris sponsor children through Compassion. If you'd like to know more about sponsoring a child in the name of Jesus, check their website by clicking the photo at the right.
Oaks Family Care
The Oaks helps families, especially single mothers or expecting mothers, by providing services and generosity in the name of Jesus. Click on the logo to the right and check out their website for more information about this Jesus-centered ministry in Brunswick.
Love INC
Love INC of Medina County networks with churches and charities to meet the practical needs of people. Because of our partnership with Love INC, we are better able to help those seeking assistance to connect with the best resources of the county. We are working together to give folks a hand up not just a hand out. Polaris partners with other churches so that, when someone comes with a need, we can get them in touch with Love INC who will know exactly where the need can be best met.
