SMT, our student ministry, is for students in 6th through 12th grade.
On Sunday mornings, middle school students (6th through 8th grades) start in Polaris' main service for worship and communion before they are released to their classroom for group teaching time and small groups. SMT is only offered in the 11am service. High school students (9th through 12th grade) attend the main service throughout worship and the sermon.
Our student ministry meets on Wednesday night from 6:30–8:30 p.m. We meet as a large group for the first hour and then break up into community groups for the last part of SMT. Community groups are: High School Boys, Middle School Boys, High School Girls, and Middle School Girls. Wednesday nights are very important for out students to be a part of. It is a time for them to connect to other students and refocus their week on God.
We have many events throughout the year for our students. Some are centered around spiritual growth, some centered around serving, and some are purely fun and relational. You can check our calendar or download our app on an Apple or Droid device and tap the Weekly News button for an overview if you want to know more about our events for students.
